Welcome to the online home of the South Wales HR Forum, a voice of the South Wales HR Community. Formed in late 2015 by Mark Hendy, a HR professional from within the region with the aim of creating an independent and inclusive community with a ‘forum’ ethos.
The purpose of the forum is to hold several events throughout the year across South Wales in a ‘touring’ fashion to reach those from as far east as Newport and as far west as Pembrokeshire. These events will include;-
▪ Quarterly seminars featuring employment law updates from leading lawyers, combined with guest speakers who will typically be experienced HR practitioners presenting on specific questions as voted for and agreed by the forum members in advance.
▪ An annual conference with specialist speakers
▪ An annual dinner and awards ceremony, celebrating the achievements of talented HR professionals from the South Wales HR community
▪ Sub-committee meetings focussing on specific strands of HR and L&D, allowing members of the forum to share knowledge and produce ‘white papers’ to share these thoughts to the broader HR community across the UK.
