On the back of our 2 hugely successful events this year, we are very pleased to announce our third event of 2017.
In an era of management fads, contradictory success stories, and fake news, good decision-making is more important than it has ever been. So on October 4th at 5.30pm, Professor Rob Briner and David D’Souza will deliver a practical guide explaining what evidence-based management is, and how it is being used to help the HR community.
‘Evidence Based Management – Dropping The Fads And Making Better Decisions’ is sponsored by University of South Wales who are also hosting this event, with this being staged at the Conference Centre at USW’s Treforest Campus.
Professor Rob Briner, is Professor of Organisational Psychology at Queen Mary University, London and in 2016 was voted HR’s Most Influential Thinker by HR Magazine. Rob is also Scientific Director for the Centre for Evidence-Based Management and a prolific speaker on the subject of Evidence-Based Management/HR.
David D’Souza is Head of Engagement at CIPD and is a renowned and respected speaker on the subject of HR, progressive business practice as well as the future world of work.
This is a FREE EVENT for CIPD members (with a minimal cost for non-members) with tickets available from the following link. We are expecting high demand for this event and many places have already been reserved, so please be quick.
We are pleased to promote this event as part of our collaboration with CIPD Wales.
