Panel Announcement – Women In Leadership and What’s Next For Gender Equality, Sponsored by LHH Penna

Following our announcement last week that our next event will be taking place on 16th May 2018 in the Village Hotel, Cardiff we are now extremely delighted to announce our panel.

Our next event will focus on Women In Leadership and whats next for Gender Equality, and this event will be sponsored by LHH Penna. Our event will include a presentation from LHH Penna’s Leadership Managing Consultant Orla Power on the organisations Workforce Transformation Agenda Research. Following Orla’s presentation, we will be joined by the following panel members who will take part in a Q&A to answer the question – ‘What’s next for Gender Equality?”

 

0.jpeg Anne Jessopp, CEO – The Royal Mint

Anne has worked in HR across a number of sectors, gaining manufacturing experience early in her career at Rolls Royce and Procter and Gamble. She went on to gain consumer experience at Radio Rentals and RAC. She was HR Director of an industrial services company and Remploy, before joining The Royal Mint in 2008 as HR Director. Particular areas of focus during her career have involved working with companies who are developing their culture and undergoing significant change.

Anne has carried out a number of roles at The Royal Mint. Starting as the HR Director, she then went on to lead the core Business services in the organisation for a number of years before becoming Director of Consumer for The Royal Mint in 2015. Anne was proud to be part of the team that launched the organisation’s new visitor attraction, The Royal Mint Experience, in May 2016 which received over 100,000 visitors in its first year. On 16 February 2018, Anne was appointed Chief Executive.

Anne has led the strategic diversification of the business, resulting in significant growth based on understanding customers and delivering the services and products that meet their needs.  This has included: Secure Storage, Gifting, Historics, increasing coin collectors, expanding international relationships, and tourism within The Royal Mint Experience.

0-2.jpeg Phil Bushby, Director of People And Organisational Development – Public Health Wales

Phil joined Public Health Wales in June 2016 from the DVLA in Swansea where he was the Human Resources and Estates Director. Phil is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and has a wide range of experience across HR disciplines and has led a number of significant change programmes over the past 20 years. In addition to his wider corporate responsibilities Phil oversee’s Public Health Wales People and Organisational Development Team who support the work of all of their staff located right across the country.

Selina is a committed leader with a unique background that combines solid careers in General and Human Resource Management. She is a dedicated professional with a strong belief that every employee can contribute to business objectives and with the desire to help them succeed. She has experience in managing stakeholders across an organisation whilst also working effectively at a hands on level. She enjoys roles with strategic content where she can lead a team to deliver the strategy using appropriate measures and effective cadence.
